Escaped for a few days, without the children - this doesn't happen very often, so it was a lovely & welcome change of pace for us. Most of our time was taken up with eating & drinking - not that I'm complaining - it felt very extravagant, having each meal cooked for you & cleaned up afterwards - I could get used to that!

Farewell Dory ♥
Was very sad to hear of the passing of Dory Previn recently - she was an integral part of my formative teenage years, many hours spent alone in my room listening to her .

Real winter finally came for us. As long as plenty of hot drinks and cosy times in the warmth of home can follow adventures in the snow, we are happy :)

It had such a beautiful interior, I particularly loved the 80 year old mirror, & our reflection in the lightbulb above us :)
Oh, and I changed my hair from blonde to red last night - it was time for a change :)

Some beautiful shadows at home today.
Looking at these makes me feel calm - the weather outside tonight is wild. I don't want to go anywhere.

These days Sunday's are devoted to horses.
My daughter rides & I fall in love every Sunday :)
